The 4th - 8th friends talked about the history of Iran and Iraq and Egypt historically/Biblically.They also learned about a young pastor, Yousef Nadarkhani who is sentenced to death for his Christian faith. His offense was questioning the Islamic teaching his children received in school and asserting the right of parents to bring up their children in their own religious beliefs.
Prayer focus was:
Prayed for Armania as well.
For the emergence of strong and mature Christian leaders for all churches in Iran (Ephesians 4:11-13)
For all who choose to follow Christ will know how to live appropriately under the threat of persecution. Prayed for strength (Psalm 29:11)
Pray that Christians will remain in the country and stand in prayer for their country (Jeremiah 42:10-11).
